Everybody makes mistakes
Even God. Did he not relent in Gen. 6:6., That he had made man and subsequently set his heart to wipe out all living creatures on the earth? Then after the flood, in Gen.,12, he felt remorse and said Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. The point is, everybody makes mistakes and sometimes you might have to walk some stuff back even if it makes you look bad.
Contrary to the false narrative spun by the American media machine, there are no perfect people. The people presenting them selves as perfect are faking the funk—if it sounds too good to be true, it is. People who present themselves as flawless have a flaw somewhere. He might be a closet addict, she might be a part-time Escort, but everybody has flaws, makes mistakes, and sometimes flies-off-at-the-handle. We all have said and done things that we immediately regretted. The smart ones walk it back and take their consequences with a stiff neck, but most people in modern culture don’t walk shit back.
They seem to be under the delusion that you have to be perfect that if you told a lie to get clout or wrote a whole article full of lies to get clout that you can’t own up to that, that you can’t walk it back. It appears that they cant bear the pain of losing public face, looking bad on the internet, so they stick to their guns, stick to the lies, narratives, the spin, the griff. Where did this delusion come from.
Who made us believe that we have to be perfect that if we say certain things we are banned from any kind of decent American life until we die. My personal belief is that this delusion was created by the children of the rich. Their kids grew up pampered and overprotected and were never told no. Mommy & Zaddy always made anything unpleasant go away. They never had to work hard for anything, even their ivy league educations are bought before they are old enough to know what they are.
These are the people now in charge of everything. The ones that politicize the court system, and censor (cancel) people that tell them no, or who don’t agree with them or call them on their bullshit. This is why tv and movies are so fucked up now and the industry is bleeding money from all the failed releases. Big budget, Low quality filled with agenda tropes and propaganda that they try to pass off as a movie. Enough! These people shit in a cup and tell you its ice cream, and if you don’t agree submissively, you’re canceled.
Again, nobody’s perfect. Nobody has the right to set a standard and tell you you have to live up to it or believe it, and when you don’t your judged and condemned to cancelship. You have the right to walk some sht back, to apologize, to forgive, to change your position
