Discrimination is a crime in every state including Miami, Florida. An employer can’t discriminate against a worker based on language, nor can that employee turn around and discriminate against a patron because the patron doesn’t speak the language of the employee.
if you are american and have been discriminated against in A fast food joint because you didn’t speak Spanish, then you are a victim of a crime. The only discussion that needs to be had is when do we go to court? When does the employee that discriminated against me gets fired? When does the entire staff get retrained about discrimination laws in the workplace? And when does the franchise owner, and the corporate parent cut the check. End of discussion.
